Tools Within Canvas
NetTutor provides online, on-demand services to meet with live online tutors, submit questions, and review essays. All of their tutors hold a bachelor’s degree, and many hold graduate degrees in their field of expertise. Beyond this, tutors will question ideas and processes and give alternate problems in order to motivate students to become confident, self-directed, life-long learners.
Proctorio is a remote proctoring service software that works within your web browser to monitor test takers for suspicious behaviors.
VeriCite’s simple interface makes detecting plagiarism quick and easy, encouraging educators and students to discuss plagiarism without making it the focus of their courses.
Using the Canvas Scheduler
Scheduler is a Calendar tool that creates appointment groups within a course or group. Students can sign up for a time slot within the appointment group. Some appointment time slots may only allow one student to sign up at a time, while others may allow an entire group to sign up.
